This is a convenient easy to carry item--the charger cord is the same as the computer link cord-fewer cords = more room in tom tom carrier-life is easier on trips. glad I purchased.
I have owned my Tom Tom One XL for over a year. The unit needs a charge if it is in storage, in it's case, for more than two days. This charger does fine but when traveling and using Tom Tom for more than 1 1/2 hours you must use the car battery charger/adapter to keep the unit operating.
I received a Tom Tom One XL T as a Christmas gift here in Germany, and wondered if there was an AC USB charging unit for the system, and discovered this product on a routine check for Tom Tom products. This will save me much time when I program my navigation system in the house, without having to hook the system into the computer. Also, it will allow me to charge the battery when traveling throughout Europe and the USA. Can't get much better than this - DC charging in the car, AC charging in the house, full charge all the time.
The item came very quickly. When I got it at home and opened it I was surprised at home new it looked. It worked without any problems.
